The Music Man DJ Services offers a large selection of additional services and features that go beyond the average DJ service.

For a small fee, you can choose any of the selections below for your upcoming event. These options can be selected in your personalized event planner or you can order them ahead of time by emailing rob@musicmandj.ca and letting us know what you are looking for. Would you like to add that little extra pizzazz to make your party stand out? Add a music video show to receive full video jockey (VJ) services. Service includes a projector screen for streaming video with options to customize DJ and VJ timeframes.

Having us at your reception but you need music for the ceremony also? For $175 you will get ceremony music as well as a wireless microphone for the officiant.

Our professional photographer provides service for a variety of events from engagement shoots to baby and family portraits. Photography service area includes Essex and Kent County. Wedding ceremony/reception photography not currently offered. Examples can be viewed using camera icon below. Pricing includes flat rates.
$350 for engagement shoots (up to 3 hours of service)
$200 for portraits for 1st hour, $75 for each additional hour

Interested in making a slideshow but you don't know how or don't have the time? Send us your pictures by USB along with any instructions & we'll build one for you. Don't risk being one of the unlucky couples who put their video on CD but when you play it at the wedding, it won't work! Pricing varies based on package selected.

Enjoy the classy touch of a live musician to go along with the versatility of a DJ. Select from a range of musicians such as violinists, harpists, cellists, pianists, Lebanese dabke drummers, guitarists & more. During ceremonies & cocktails are great times for live music.     Additional Features
       Dry Ice Machine .................................................... $225 Dry ice machine
This item is similar to a fog machine, but the dry ice stays on the ground level as opposed to rising into the air. Dry ice makes for amazing pictures with a "dancing on the clouds" effect. This is a great way to really impress your guests. Don't fall for cheap imitations, we only use real dry ice! (Cost of dry ice included in rental)

This item is a big hit for night clubs, kid's parties and school events. Accent the DJ light show with some fog and watch the beams of light move through the air!

Bubbles work great for a couple's first dance at a wedding. Kids also respond well to this item at birthday parties or other events where children are present. Our bubble machine comes with clear anti-slip suction cup mats for added grip. Option to operate bubble machine by remote control for a "raining bubble effect from above" is available if you are also renting a full light show.

The price includes the projector rental, equipment operation and a laptop if needed. Wedding videos during dinner are a popular choice for this item. No need to worry about how to get your video working while all the guests are watching you! The video is tested before the event begins!

Our projector screens are very portable, quick-to-assemble, flexible 7 foot screens that have the option for regular 4:3 aspect ratio or 16:9 widescreen mode.

This item is a great alternative to clinking glasses in order to make the bride and groom kiss. Try something unique for your wedding instead of the same old traditions. Friends and family will remember it for years to come. Some categories include 'moonwalk back to your seat', 'show your best dance moves' and 'take a selfie with the bride and groom'. Alternate categories are optional and music is included in the game.

Throwing fluffy, oversized kissing dice in the middle of a dance floor is a fun and unique way to make the bride and groom kiss. Game rules vary by preference and can be found under wedding tips / kissing games.

Want to try something unique at your buck and doe? Drinko is a spinoff of the ever-so-popular game from The Price Is Right, labeled Plinko. The game works by buying turns and dropping metal drinko discs from the top of the board to try to land in the winning squares below. Normally, prizes are shots or drink tickets but feel free to add your own prize variations. Available only for any event in Essex County, Ontario.

Are you interested in hearing music on all sides of the dance floor? Maybe you have a large hall and guests in the back can't hear the speeches. For whatever reason, an additional 2 speakers can really create a fullness to the sound.

Not a fan of wires all over the floor? Perhaps the needs of your event or the location of pathways make it difficult or impossible for a wired setup. Maybe you're looking for the fastest way to move a DJ system from one location to another. Wireless speakers are the best solution to address these issues. (Includes 2 wireless transmitters)

Looking for a secondary microphone to use at your event? Perhaps you have multiple MCs who need to coordinate speeches or maybe you're planning to have a live music act. Whatever the purpose, an extra microphone can come in handy. (Prices cheaper for bulk rentals.)

A wired microphone may be preferable to wireless mics in certain circumstances where a reliable signal will be needed for very long periods of time. Some examples may include live music performance or perhaps a comedian. Equipment can support up to 4 wired microphones.
 
     
       UPS Battery Backup ............................................. $20 UPS battery backup
Renting a battery backup is a great insurance policy to guarantee that the music doesn't just stop at some point in the night due to blackouts or an inadequate power source. For a small amount of money you can make sure that freak occurrences don't ruin your party. Our batteries are rated to run for up to 2 hours at full power.

Are you holding an event where no additional tables can be provided for the DJ booth? For a small fee, we are able to provide a table to act as either the DJ booth or serve any other table requirements. Tables are 4 or 6 feet in length.

Add a splash of colour to the dance floor with an interactive light show. This is a great way to create ambiance and get guests in the party mood. Fog effect also compliments lights by highlighting the beams of light. Package includes 4 lighting effects elevated on a stand.

Great item for clubs, school events, raves and special themed parties like a Halloween bash. Our industrial strength black light has much more wattage and range than a standard 60 watt light bulb. Give the entire dance floor a neon glow with black light!
